Restoration Prayer

What is Restoration Prayer

Restoration Prayer is a prayer ministry designed to help followers of Jesus experience greater freedom, healing, and wholeness in Christ. Through confession, repentance, forgiveness, and prayer, we invite the Holy Spirit to bring healing to wounded places, expose and replace lies with God's truth, and help believers walk in the freedom Jesus has already won for them.

Our desire is not simply to address spiritual bondage, but to see every person healed, restored, and equipped to live in the fullness of life found in Christ.

Why is it important?

Jesus came to proclaim freedom to the captives, bind up the brokenhearted, and bring healing to those who are hurting. While every believer belongs fully to Christ, many continue to carry wounds, lies, patterns of sin, and spiritual oppression that hinder intimacy with God and healthy relationships with others.

As these areas are brought into the light through prayer and repentance, the Holy Spirit brings healing, renewal, and greater freedom. Many people experience a deeper awareness of God's love, greater clarity in hearing His voice, increased spiritual fruit, and a renewed confidence to walk in the authority and identity they have in Jesus.

What does Restoration Prayer involve?

Restoration Prayer is rooted in three biblical practices:

  • Biblical teaching — allowing God's Word to define what is true.

  • Confession and repentance — bringing hidden things into the light and turning fully toward Christ.

  • Spirit-led, authoritative prayer — ministering in the authority of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Restoration Prayer Process

Step 1: Prepare

After registering for Restoration Prayer, you will receive a comprehensive questionnaire to complete. This helps our prayer team understand your story and prayer needs while preparing to serve you with wisdom and care.

Once your questionnaire is returned, you will be added to the waiting list for a session. During this time, we encourage participants to watch the Bondage Breaker videos available through RightNow Media to prepare their hearts.

Step 2: Listening Prayer

Before your session, the prayer team gathers to seek the Lord on your behalf. We spend time listening to the Holy Spirit, asking Him for wisdom, discernment, encouragement, Scriptures, and insight that may help guide your prayer session.

Everything shared is prayerfully discerned and held with humility, always submitted to Scripture.

Step 3: Restoration Prayer

During your session, our prayer team will gently walk with you through biblical confession, repentance, forgiveness, and renouncing lies that have shaped your thinking or given footholds to the enemy. Together, we affirm your identity in Christ, replace lies with God's truth, and pray for healing wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

This process is never rushed. It is centered on Jesus, guided by Scripture, and led by the Holy Spirit.

Step 4: Releasing Prayer (When Needed)

For participants who would benefit from additional ministry, we may schedule a second session focused on Releasing Prayer.

During this time, our prayer team ministers in the authority of Jesus, confronting spiritual oppression and breaking strongholds as the Holy Spirit leads. As places of bondage are surrendered to Christ, we pray for healing, freedom, and restoration—asking the Holy Spirit to fill every area with His presence, truth, peace, and blessing.

Our goal is not simply freedom from spiritual bondage, but freedom for the abundant life Jesus promises. We desire to see renewed minds, restored hearts, and believers walking confidently in their identity, authority, and calling in Christ.

Step 5: Follow-Up

Healing is often a journey, not just a moment. After your session, a member of our team will follow up with you to answer questions, process your experience, and encourage you as you continue walking in the freedom Christ has given you.

We also believe lasting freedom is cultivated in the context of discipleship and spiritual family. As you continue participating in Sunday Gatherings, Communities, and the life of the local church, our prayer is that you would remain rooted in God's presence, grow in His Word, and be continually transformed into the likeness of Christ.
