Glorify Jesus

Everything we do points to Jesus.

Our vision is to glorify Jesus as a people, honor Him with our lives, and be transformed into His image.

Make Disciples

As followers of Jesus, we commit to the five practices of discipleship at Citizens:

Gather

We gather every Sunday at 4:00 PM to worship, receive communion, and hear God's Word, and every Wednesday in Communities to grow in our faith and build spiritual family.

Pray

We pursue God's presence through daily prayer, Pre-Gathering Prayer every Sunday at 3:00 PM, and Pray BCS every Thursday at 6:00 AM.

Serve

We use our God-given gifts to glorify Jesus by serving the church and building up the body of Christ.

Grow

We become more like Jesus through Scripture, the Holy Spirit, and intentional discipleship. We do this through the Citizens Library, Sunday School, and Restoration Prayer.

Give

We give generously to support the mission of the local church and care for the practical needs of our city.

Advance the Kingdom

We don't stay within the walls of the church—we are sent. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we go into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and the nations to make disciples, love our neighbors, and proclaim the good news of King Jesus.

Become a Member of Citizens

Twice each semester, we host New Member Night for those who desire to make Citizens their church home.

Together with our elders, pastors, staff, and leaders, we'll share a meal, get to know one another, and walk through the mission, values, and vision of Citizens. We'll also talk about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and how we live that out together as a church family.

Our heart is to see every person who calls Citizens home become deeply rooted in the local church—joined to the mission, connected to spiritual family, and continually equipped to follow Jesus and make disciples.
